It looks to me as if retiring at 60 is another benefit to the public sector whilst us have to wait to access all our pension is for me anyway 65

If I remember correctly, your preserved benefit from a private sector FS scheme predates Nuvos however? In which case, yes, the PCSPS NRA of the time was indeed 60, like a lot of public schemes (caveat: in LGPS land, the 85 year rule complicates things for pre-2006 joiners), and some private sector ones (it just varied).
